Our academic integrity policy
Setu is for real work — startups, portfolios, careers, family errands, and learning. It is not a place to buy coursework, and we enforce that:
- No graded assignments, essays, theses, or exam work — ever. Such requests are declined, and repeat attempts are banned.
- Tutoring on Setu means teaching: concept coaching, feedback on your own work, and practice — not doing it for you.
- We cooperate with payment partners to keep the platform compliant in every country we serve.

What happens if the freelancer disappears mid-project?
Your money was never sent to them — it's held safely until you approve the work. You get a full refund to your card, or we match you with a replacement freelancer who can pick up the work.
What if I don't like the delivered work?
Request revisions first — every quote includes revision rounds. If you still can't agree, raise a dispute; our team reviews the full project history and rules within 5 business days.
Is my payment information safe?
Card details go directly to our PCI-DSS-compliant payment processors — Setu's servers never see or store your card number. All traffic is encrypted in transit.
Can freelancers see where I study?
Only what you choose to share. We share your first name and project details with the freelancer — never your contact details, university, or address.
Why don't you allow assignment help? Other sites do.
Because it puts you at real risk — universities treat contract cheating as expellable misconduct, and in several countries it's illegal for platforms to facilitate it. We'd rather help you build things that make your degree worth more, not less.
